Why does (L) still give me so much grief? – will we have to come back?

The quick answer is No, you won’t come back as a victim but if she doesn’t accept your worth as a mother and friend and be truly sorry for what she is putting you through then she will need to come back and help you in some way. Hopefully she will do it towards the end of your life. It is not good Karma for her – her children will turn against her but will Love you, and your Love for them will help them enormously.
