Just to be aware in your dealings with (L) that he feels at the moment very alone, hence the need to find Russ. The flat, (no 7) is a hostile place to him now with ‘all those people’ there and losing things.

Think carefully – he may actually benefit from being in a ‘home’ and will have plenty of people to talk to. If he goes now then you will have more choice, as his dementia is still under control as it were.

He has always been OK with Homes as he and Russ used to talk about it often. Not like Pat. He would love to be looked after and would consider it a hotel.

He will always do as you suggest though – so be aware that he may go along with a person coming in – but actually not be honest.
