What is the best advice for people sitting down to Meditate after Initiation?
This is from the Lords of Initiation.
The first and most important thing is to always make sure you are as relaxed and comfortable as possible, both in mind and body. Some people find Yoga helps, or breathing exercises. Make sure you are sitting in a good position for you.
Secondly you are advised to focus for a little while before each practice on being yielding and accepting of whatever happens. There should be reverence, not expectation of what will happen.
You are now Meditating on the Light and Sound of God. Be aware that, although you have become part of a large number of people all around the World who Meditate in the same way, the numbers are very small compared to the population. Think how lucky you are!
Be grateful, give thanks that you now have the opportunity to Meditate in this way.So start off each practice with either saying the Mantra or focusing on your breathing, whichever works best for you. Don’t rush into the Light and Sound until you are quiet and still. Be ready and in Awe of what may be revealed to you.
Give all of your attention to your third eye, as you will have been instructed and stay with it. While you are Meditating give Concentration and don’t get into habitual thinking.
