This is from the Lords of Light about Enlightenment, when you are unsure whether to confirm a State or not.

In a world where all Meditators ‘sit down’ for States as they did in (Y)’s Path, the job of confirming was much easier. They were monitored each day and Realizations were noted carefully and decisions made with careful observation of the Initiate.

Nowadays, when people live at a distance from the Adept, unless the person has a ‘classic’ it is more difficult to confirm – especially when they are ‘out and about’ and not formally sitting down when the Realization occurs.

Because of the Power of the New Lightwave, people are moving through States like never before. There must be an Expansion of Consciousness where the Initiate bursts the bubble, they should feel a One-ness with Everything. But even after that they should sit down for at least two days to consolidate any Realizations that came.

As the Path grows there will be more Adepts to fulfill the role of confirming States, as that is really the way it should be. When people get Messages about whether someone is Enlightened or not it is all about interpretation.

People who are Enlighted will say:
• They had a big expansion, whatever that means to them.
• They felt ‘at One’ with all things.

Then it gets hazy because it really does make a difference if they are sitting for the State or not – if the confirmation is historical. If they are being told they need to ‘sit down’ at a later date and get more Realizations it’s hard, because this should be done at the time the Expansion occurs.
