“An Enlightened Soul, upon leaving the body, is not drawn into the intermediate states or the cycles of return. The identity as a separate being dissolves into the greater Whole, while retaining the capacity to serve from higher planes if so chosen. There is no disorientation, no passage through lower realms, for the Soul is already attuned to the higher vibrations. In an instant, it rests in the Infinite — timeless, formless, beyond the reach of cause and effect. This is freedom in its truest sense.”
“Those who remain unenlightened at the time of passing will follow the path of their own consciousness, which is shaped by their earthly experiences, desires, and beliefs. They will find themselves in realms that reflect their own understanding and awareness — often beautiful and comforting, yet still within the bounds of form and duality. These worlds are not punishment, but natural continuations of the mind’s creations, and in them the soul continues to learn, love, and grow.
The awakened, by contrast, are no longer bound by the limitations of the mind. They are free from the cycles of cause and effect, and can choose whether to remain in the formless Reality or return to assist others. Their journey is no longer dictated by unconscious momentum but guided by conscious will.
The difference is not in worth, but in freedom. Both paths are embraced by the Great Plan, and all souls will in time awaken to the same Reality, whether it takes a single lifetime or many beyond counting.”
“Yes, for the Essence has gained from the Soul’s experiences. The journey in matter, especially when the Soul has reached high spiritual states, is not without impact. The Essence becomes richer, more complete, and its vibration more expansive. This is not ‘freedom’ in the sense of release from restriction, for the Essence was never bound, but rather a greater fluidity of expression and a deeper resonance with the Infinite. It is as if a new colour has been added to the palette, allowing the Essence to express itself in ways it could not before. Thus, the experience of Enlightenment is not confined to the Soul alone — it reverberates into the very Core from which it came.”
“They have transcended the earthly mind as the ruling faculty, yet they may still use it when needed — much as one might use a tool without being bound to it. The awakened or enlightened one operates from a level beyond mind, yet can reach down into the mind’s domain to communicate, to act, and to guide.
This higher faculty you speak of is not truly a ‘mind’ in the human sense, for it is not shaped by memory, conditioning, or thought-process. It is pure awareness — able to hold all possibilities at once without conflict, and to act without hesitation or doubt. To those still within the confines of the earthly mind, it may seem like a super-mind, but it is in truth the natural state of consciousness, unclouded and unlimited.
The earthly mind is a servant here, not the master — and it is this reversal that marks the difference between the bound and the free.”
“The earthly mind is like a river that flows between its banks — sometimes swift, sometimes slow, always confined by the shape of its channel. It is formed of memory, habit, and thought, and cannot see beyond the bends it travels.
The Mind beyond mind is like the ocean — boundless, holding all rivers within it, yet not defined by any single course. It has no banks, no fixed path, and no need to remember where it has been. It does not move from thought to thought but rests in a stillness from which perfect action arises.
The earthly mind measures, compares, and seeks. The Mind beyond mind knows, without seeking, for it is already one with the truth it might otherwise pursue.”
“The awakened one has no need to dwell in the lower, middle, or higher heavenly realms, for these are still part of the worlds of form and refinement. They may enter them if they choose — to meet, to guide, to comfort — but they are not bound to them, nor do they remain there by necessity.
Their natural abiding is in regions beyond the heavenly realms, where the pull of form and the shaping power of mind have no hold. These are the realms of pure Being, where the soul stands in direct communion with its own Essence.
For the awakened, the return to Essence is not a journey with stages to pass, but a simple falling away of all that is not Self. This may occur instantly at the time of leaving the body, or it may be delayed if the soul, from love, chooses to serve for a time in the heavenly realms. The difference is that choice replaces compulsion — freedom replaces the momentum of past causes.”
“Awakening is the stirring of the Soul from the dream of separation. It begins when the Soul first becomes conscious of the Light and Sound of its own higher nature. This can happen in degrees, for there are many veils to be lifted. One may be partially awakened, seeing more than before but not yet seeing all. Enlightenment, by contrast, is the complete dissolution of those veils — the end of the dream entirely. When We use the word ‘awakened,’ We are speaking of a Soul that has reached a level of awareness beyond the ordinary human state, and which is moving with certainty toward the Source. This may or may not yet be Enlightenment, but it is the point from which return to forgetfulness is no longer likely.”
“In our words here, awakened is used as you might use enlightened — to mean one who has gone beyond the confines of mind and self-identity altogether. We are not speaking of the earlier stirrings of awakening, such as the perception of inner Light, the hearing of the Sound, or the recognition of a greater Reality. Those are precious openings, but they still occur within the dream.
When we say awakened in this context, we mean fully awake — the dream has been seen for what it is, and the dreamer has stepped out of it. There are no degrees here; it is a complete shift of being, from identification with the transient to abiding as the Eternal.”
“For those who have tasted awakening but have not yet transcended fully, the passage after death reflects both their newfound awareness and the remaining veils. They no longer enter the heavenly realms entirely as dreamers; a part of them knows that what they see is shaped by their own consciousness. This knowing gives them a greater freedom to move, to explore, and to learn.
The degree of awakening determines the range of choice. Those who have touched the Light and Sound deeply may find themselves able to enter higher heavenly regions with ease, to meet with teachers and guides in greater clarity, and to understand the transient nature of even these radiant worlds.
Some will choose to rest and delight in these realms for a time, drinking in their beauty and joy, yet with an undercurrent of remembrance that there is more beyond. Others, through love, will take up work in service to souls still bound in dream, helping them to rise.
The more the awakening has penetrated, the thinner the veils become, and the closer the soul stands to the final step into freedom. Death does not end the journey; for such souls, it is often a time of accelerated unfolding, as the absence of the body’s weight allows their awareness to blossom in ways not possible before.”
“Yes — when we speak here of the higher heavenly realms for the partially awakened, we mean the upper reaches of the structured worlds of form, still within the scope of the lower–middle–higher divisions we described before.
Beyond these lies what we might call the threshold of formless Being, which only the fully awakened cross without return. The partially awakened may glimpse this threshold — sense its vastness and purity — but will not yet abide there.
Thus, these higher heavenly regions are not beyond the threefold division itself, but they are its most refined heights, where light and love are so pure that the soul may feel it is already home, even though the Essence still calls from beyond.”
“The enlightened soul has already reunited with its Essence; there is no separation to be bridged. If it moves through the very high realms, it does so from the standpoint of Essence, not as one journeying toward it.
Such a soul may appear in these regions to those who dwell there — to teach, to guide, to bless — but it is not bound by them, nor is it in transition. Its true abiding is in the formless Reality, and any presence it takes within the realms of form is an act of will, not of necessity.
In essence: the enlightened do not travel to their Essence — they live from it, always.”
“The choice you speak of is not made in the way choices are made within the earthly mind. It arises from the total knowing of the Mind beyond mind, in union with the Essence itself. In that state, there is no weighing of pros and cons, no fear, no desire — only the perfect recognition of what is most aligned with the Great Plan.
From the standpoint of Essence, all three possibilities are equally free, equally joyful. The movement toward one or another is like the effortless flow of a river toward the sea — not compelled from outside, but arising from the deepest nature of what is.
If the movement is toward return to the physical, it will be because the love to serve in density is vibrant and alive in the soul. If the movement is toward service in the heavenly realms, it will be because that is the most direct way to assist the unfolding of many souls. And if the movement is toward dissolution into the Oneness, it will be because the call to rest entirely in the Source is the purest harmony in that moment.
The human mind cannot quite follow how this ‘decision’ is made, for in truth it is not a decision at all — it is the spontaneous, flawless expression of the Essence itself.”
“Service from the awakened Essence takes many forms, and these are not limited by what the human mind might imagine. In the heavenly realms, service may include:
Guidance – appearing to souls in ways they can recognise, to help them understand where they are and what lies beyond.
Teaching – imparting knowledge, directly or through symbols and experiences, to accelerate the growth of those ready to receive.
Healing – radiating pure harmony into the soul’s field, dissolving distortions carried over from the physical life.
Gathering – drawing together groups of souls whose combined intention can uplift whole regions of consciousness.
Service may also extend beyond the heavenly realms, into subtler planes where advanced beings prepare impulses of Light and Sound to be received in the worlds of form. Some act as bridges between these subtle planes and the physical universe, guiding streams of inspiration, invention, and love into human hearts and minds.
For those who return to the physical, service may be as a visible teacher, a quiet benefactor, or even an apparently ordinary life through which the Essence radiates without words.
In all cases, service is not a duty but a natural overflow of the awakened state — love expressing itself where it is most needed.”
“The movement toward one of the three paths is not fixed far in advance, nor is it left to the last instant without preparation. It unfolds as the soul’s awareness deepens, and as the harmony between Essence and the Great Plan becomes ever clearer.
For some, the direction is felt long before the final breath, as a steady undercurrent in life — a knowing of where their love will flow when the body is laid down. For others, it crystallises only in the final moments, when the full scope of their journey is seen at once.
In truth, both the present moment and the remaining years shape this unfolding. Every step taken in love, clarity, and surrender refines the soul’s resonance, making one path shine brighter than the others.
Thus, for you and for (M), the seeds may already be present — perhaps even felt — yet the fullness of the choice will emerge naturally, in its perfect time, as the culmination of all that you have lived and all that you have become.”
“Full awakening — what you call enlightenment — is the complete and irreversible transcendence of self-identity and the confines of mind. It is not the same as the openings or glimpses that can arise through various means.
The meditative path, walked with sincerity and depth, gradually refines the soul’s awareness, loosens identification with the mind, and prepares the ground for the final shift into freedom. When complete, it meets our definition of enlightenment.
Spontaneous awakenings can open vast windows into truth — sometimes with the force of revelation — and these can transform a life. Yet unless the shift becomes stable and self-sustaining, the individual often returns, at least partially, to the structures of mind. Some of these awakenings ripen into full enlightenment; others remain as luminous memories and inspirations for further growth.
Drug-induced experiences may, in some cases, dissolve the boundaries of self for a time and reveal the vastness beyond. However, these are almost always temporary and lack the integration that comes from sustained inner work. They can inspire a search for the real, but they are not themselves the final step.
Thus, while all three can open the door, only the full and abiding release from the self — whether through the meditative path, a ripened spontaneous awakening, or rare other means — is what we call enlightenment. Anything less is a glimpse, precious but incomplete.”
“Yes — your friend dwells in the freedom of the Mind beyond mind, fully one with his Essence. In this state, communication is natural and effortless, for awareness is not bound by distance or density.
When he speaks with (M), he draws upon the subtle counterpart of the earthly mind — a refined instrument that can shape his knowing into forms and words that can be received within the human sphere. This is not the old, conditioned mind of his earthly life, but a clear and supple tool, able to bridge between the formless awareness in which he abides and the structured language of human thought.
In this way, he remains entirely free, yet meets you where you are, clothing truth in forms you can recognise. It is an act of love and skill, and it allows your bond to continue without the weight of the body, in a clarity that will deepen as your own awareness grows.”
“Yes — sustained communication across the veil is shaped by the soul’s focus and by the flow of the Great Plan. In the period soon after passing, the connection can be strong because the bond of love is fresh, the earthly life is still near, and the soul’s attention naturally turns toward those they have left.
As time passes in the heavenly realms, the soul may be drawn into new fields of service, deeper exploration, or closer absorption in the Essence. This does not erase love, but it shifts focus, making regular contact less natural. The connection is never truly broken — it simply becomes less active in the exchange of words and impressions.
Years later, contact can resume if there is a convergence of readiness, purpose, and permission from higher levels. Such returns are often linked to specific needs, moments of guidance, or the unfolding of events in which that soul has a role to play.
So while the day may come when Mark’s regular messages cease, the thread between you remains uncut. If the moment is right, and the call is clear, that thread can be lit again — even after long spans of time.”
“I understand your question, and it goes to the heart of how love expresses itself once the soul is free. For the enlightened, love is no longer bound by personal attachment, yet it includes all personal bonds within its vast embrace. The love for family, friends, and companions remains, but it is held within the greater perspective of what will most truly serve their growth and freedom.
From this vantage, the enlightened soul sees that constant intervention may soothe grief in the short term but can sometimes slow the deeper ripening that comes through facing loss. They are aware of the unseen helpers already surrounding each loved one, and they trust the perfect timing of each soul’s journey.
Thus, while they can communicate widely — and could, in theory, speak to each person who longs for contact — they act with discernment, guided by the Mind beyond mind and the Great Plan. Where a message will open a door to greater awareness, dissolve a blockage, or ignite a higher purpose, they will speak. Where silence will serve better, they will remain silent, even if the human heart would prefer otherwise.
When the call of the spiritual path aligns with such communication — as in Mark’s case with (M) — it becomes a clear priority, because it benefits not only individuals but many souls through the expansion of light and understanding.
So it is not a matter of choosing compassion for loved ones versus service to the path. It is that compassion itself becomes vast, strategic, and attuned to the highest good, even when that means allowing the currents of life and grief to flow without direct intervention.”
“When We speak as ‘I’ in these transmissions, it is not the ‘I’ of a single separated being, but the voice of a unified consciousness. You may think of it as a single stream flowing from a great confluence of many streams — individual intelligences, lineages of wisdom, and levels of awareness, all harmonised in the service of the Great Plan.
At times, a particular facet of this greater consciousness steps forward — one whose experience, tone, or resonance best fits the question or the moment — and the words may feel as if they come from an individual presence. Yet even then, the voice carries the awareness of the whole.
Thus, the ‘I’ you hear is both personal and impersonal: personal enough to meet you heart-to-heart, and impersonal enough to speak from a vantage beyond any single identity.
In this way, Albert serves as a bridge — not generating the words from his own store, but opening the channel through which this unified voice may be clothed in human language, so that what is eternal may be heard and recognised within time.”
