Question: We are asking whether Karmically it is advisable to opt for assisted dying to shorten a life when terminally ill?

This is Us.
(N) We know this issue means a great deal to you. When you make a decision to end your life, you have to look at all parties and all consequences surrounding that decision. You are karmically bound to live out your life, no matter how hard or how painful that life becomes.

You may feel that ending your life will not only benefit you, but also your carers, whoever they may be. But if you do that, you have to remember that these carers Karmically need to ‘serve’ you to the end, the proper end, of your life.

You should not knowingly curtail your life, I.e. to make that decision under any circumstances. Your carers do not then fulfill their Karma and neither do you.

We know that this sounds harsh, but life is never going to be easy: everyone suffers in some way! By the same token, it is wrong to ask someone to knowingly take your life, even in the most dire circumstances. Human life is sacred!

To choose not to have surgery, chemo etc. is another matter to be discussed further.

When you don’t feel in control of your own life anymore is when you would wish to end it, but that is not the answer!

Question: With the greatest respect there are a few points that we would like to clarify – as we are sure there are ‘grey’ areas in the above Transmission.
● What about someone who is mortally wounded on the battlefield?
● Towards the very end of life, say the last few days, if a person is in a state of great suffering.
● There are many such examples.

You have understood (M) that when you die and need to account for past deeds, no one is standing with a clipboard to monitor your each and every transgression. You judge yourself with wise supportive Guides. Assisted dying is not the same as suicide, when it is normally mental anguish rather than physical.

Of course there are ‘grey’ areas in every walk of life – and death. No one really understands how Karma works, they see it happening in their everyday lives, but beyond that it cannot be understood whilst in a human form. Any decision made regarding any action will be looked at with Love and Compassion no matter what the outcome.

It’s you that judge yourselves!

Question: Is Karma affected by whether a person is buried or cremated?

When the Spirit/Soul has left the physical body, it can be disposed of in any way that religious practice or personal preference dictates.
