May we have advice about how to navigate our life in a seemingly ‘mad’ World.
As Meditators you have the best opportunity of doing this, and different aspects have been looked at in other messages.
We will look at the day to day worries/tasks which seem to crop up, even for people with uncomplicated lives.
It makes sense to keep the company of like-minded people, e.g. other meditators if you can. Failing that, to choose close friends to reflect and nurture your ideas and thoughts about life – and make you laugh! This is a time now when humanity is fully immersed in a new Era where the mind is king. This is reflected in society everywhere you look, even sporting activities have mind control techniques, in which people are programmed to excel. Actual warring and threats of war are ever present.
The body/mind needs respite from the relentless pressure to excel and be strong.
Try this Meditation technique:
Bring your Awareness to your heart area and on the people/pets/things you love the most. After a minute or so, bring these loving thoughts and create a bubble of Light inside which travels all around your body, nurturing each area as it goes. Do this slowly, focusing on Loving Energy.
Then bring your Awareness back to the chest area and slowly make that bubble grow really big and imagine that light coming through the top of your head. Firstly, send this to any particular person or place it needs to go. Then send it to the whole World – and beyond. The process should take about 5-10 minutes.
You may have been aware of this technique before. It is very useful to give the overworked brain/mind a break – to take the energy from the head to the heart area.
The more you do this, the more your attention will naturally be focused there, and automatically your mind will become quiet and rested.
Obviously slow, measured breathing is also really recommended with this practice.
