Is there any advice you can give regarding (J) and Initiations here in Sidmouth?

He would definitely prefer to Initiate groups rather than Individuals. That said, it will be good for him to be around you for a bit, will give him a focus. Maybe change his mind. Things will spiral in the right direction from an unexpected place – go with flow.
