May we ask the question, are people actually born evil?

As a society breaks down it is inevitable that this question is asked. As evil is exposed, then people will look to these perpetrators and wonder why they would choose a life that involves cruelty, manipulation and the like.

But let us look at this question from a completely different viewpoint.

Humans and animals live together quite happily until they invade one another’s space and cause a problem. Many people would not think twice about moving an ant hill in their garden, thereby displacing many ants. These same people, however, would feel very strongly about displacing the population in war zones. It’s a question of magnification.

If you were to stand back from the Earth and see all living things from that viewpoint, you would understand very clearly that there are wars in every part of the creation. Each organism, from the smallest to the largest, is simply playing a part for the allotted time.

It is best to look at good and evil as names made up by humans trying to understand why people behave the way they do.
