If someone has taken the trouble to write to you to find out about their Experiences, then it is usually with the idea that they need advice as to how to proceed. If that is the case, then its always a good idea to take them down the Initiation route if they so wish.

The main differences are that an Awakening without guidance means that the person probably will not reach Enlightenment. Obviously with the Light and Sound Path they have that opportunity.

An Awakening will not necessarily give someone the tools they need to live their life in a meaningful way. Light and Sound Meditation, practiced with dedication, will give the Seeker the best chance. The Journey will give them untold Peace and Joy which they are far more likely to share with others. Also, they can learn about their place in the Cosmos.

An Awakening, however, mostly would give them a limited understanding, albeit very useful ideas of Cosmic issues.
