(N) When you send any form of communication to someone it is usually to impart some information that they don’t already know. Otherwise, it is just for yourself. Anything you could possibly say in a letter or email to (Y) – he knows!

He knows you’re grateful, he knows you want him somehow to give you credit for what you and (M) have done. He loves you both very much – that is why he has reacted in such a way.

The only letter that (Y) would want from you two is to say you’ve done wrong and totally apologise. He would be happy, like the Prodigal Son, to have you back under his wing again.

His way is the only way and he won’t budge from that!
